Concrete Finishes
A number of concrete finishes are available depending on the product that you are installing. These include:
Exposed Aggregate
Stone is
exposed to show colour and provide surface grip. Commonly used on driveways,
pathways, stairs and patios.
Light Exposed Aggregate
Stone
is exposed to show colour and provide surface grip but has a smoother finish,
often requested for high pedestrian-traffic areas such as pool surrounds,
pathways, stairs and patios. Also used for concrete walls and plinths.
Broom FInish
Mild,
straight-groove finish that is broomed to give surface grip. Commonly used in
areas subject to wet weather and for driveways, pathways, stairs and patios.
Sponge Finish
Mild,
swirled-effect finish to give surface grip. Commonly used in areas subject to
wet weather and for driveways, pathways, stairs and patios.
Steel Trowel FInish
Smooth
finish. Used for all slabs.
Colour Concrete
Can be used
with all finishes. Is chosen by the client to match creative vision or existing
structures and design.
Polished Concrete
Sleek finish
where stone is exposed to show colour but surface remains smooth. Commonly used
for indoor areas where concrete is used as a feature and for walls and plinths.
